Event definitionsThe “Free Trial” event is registered when a user successfully registers for a Free Trial on Audible.The “Subscription After Trial” event is registered when a user who registered for a Free Trial continues with a paid subscription once the trial period ends.The “Direct Subscription” event is registered:When a user who previously registered for a Free Trial but did not convert at the time, later subscribes to a paid service.When a former paid subscriber reactivates their paid Audible subscription.When a direct promotion (fixed price for a certain period) is offered.Event validation processFree Trial Event ValidationAll Free Trial events are sent for validation to Audible 31 days after the end of the calendar month in which the events occurred.Subscription After Trial & Direct Subscription ValidationDue to the high percentage (~60%) of direct debit payments, Audible allows for up to three debit attempts (one every 30 days) before finalizing the subscription status. As a result, the timeline for validation is as follows:Subscription After Trial: Audible sends the approved Subscription After Trial events 123 days after the end of the calendar month in which the related Free Trial events were initially recorded.Direct Subscription: All Direct Subscription events are sent for validation to Audible 93 days after the end of the calendar month in which the events occurred.Rejection reasons (for Subscription After Trial and Direct Subscription events)The event will be rejected if:The user opts for a credit card payment but does not complete the payment process due to a failed 3DS (Three-Domain Secure) authentication.The user attempts to subscribe using a stolen credit card.The user chooses direct debit as a...
